Engraved Labels for Louisville and Jeffersonville Projects

We engrave electrical labels, equipment nameplates, valve tags, control legend plates and panel overlays for facility projects. For a Louisville plant or Jeffersonville data center, send the approved equipment and label schedule with the required identification. Our standard labels use multi-layer engraving laminate, commonly called phenolic or lamacoid. Specify the actual stock, exposure and attachment requirements; the trade name alone does not establish a material grade or service life.

We engrave in Kennesaw, Georgia and ship nationwide; we do not have a Louisville production facility. Resolve missing data and request the necessary proof before approving production.

No. Confirm the site, permit and applicable electrical requirements separately for each project. Louisville Metro's current notice identifies the 2023 NEC for permits pulled on or after January 1, 2025, and the 2017 NEC for earlier permits. Indiana publishes its 2009 Electrical Code incorporating the 2008 NEC with state amendments. Have the responsible designer or inspection authority confirm what applies to the actual installation. Provide that reference and the approved marking text with the label schedule; CPL engraves the supplied identification rather than determining code compliance.

Yes. List each approved equipment-ID plate and warning design separately, with the exact text or artwork required for that item. Identify any pictogram or graphic file, its viewing orientation and the dimensions of the finished piece. Keep artwork notes and cut lines separate from the engraving. Have the responsible project team approve warning content and placement before submitting it. Ordering an equipment nameplate does not by itself supply or approve a separate warning package.

Use the conveyor identifiers and scope wording approved for that emergency-stop station. Provide the station or operator reference, the exact equipment identifiers to engrave, and the controlling panel drawing revision. If the approved text names several conveyors, show the complete text and line breaks on a dimensioned layout. Confirm the operator part number, available plate space, cutout and mounting details. CPL reproduces the approved legend; it does not trace the circuit or verify which conveyors the stop controls.

Give each distinct pull-cord station plate its own schedule row and approved identification. Keep the fixed station ID, conveyor reference and location fields separate so the file shows exactly which words belong on the plate. Include the source revision, reading orientation, finished size, colors and attachment drawing. For a replacement, send measured dimensions and a clear photograph. The responsible project team confirms the station reference and installation position; the engraving shop should not infer them from the cord route.

Send the warning text or artwork approved by your conveyor designer or responsible safety team. Identify the conveyor or entry-zone reference separately from the exact words to engrave. Include finished dimensions, text and graphic positions, reading orientation, color requirements, material and attachment details. Provide the current revision and flag any unresolved wording before asking for a production proof. CPL can reproduce the supplied design; it does not select a warning from a photograph or assess automatic-start hazards.

Separate the approved conveyor identifier from any motor or drive data that must appear on a nameplate. Show whether the order calls for one combined plate or separate pieces, with final text and dimensions for each design. For ratings, model numbers or serial numbers, identify the authoritative equipment record and revision. Preserve complete identifiers and leading zeros in the source file. Missing ratings must be confirmed with the equipment owner or manufacturer; a replacement plate does not establish equipment certification or engineering approval.
