Custom Phenolic Labels is not based in Richmond. Production happens at a single shop in Kennesaw, Georgia, and every order, rush or standard, ships out from there to reach Richmond job sites and offices around central Virginia.

Use the edition and project requirements confirmed by your electrical designer or inspection authority. Virginia DHCD currently identifies the 2021 Virginia Codes and 2020 NEC, effective January 18, 2024. That statewide reference does not determine which requirements apply to a particular permit or existing installation. Yes. Send the current approved panel schedule, equipment list or drawing for review. Use one row per distinct design, with exact engraving text, quantities, dimensions, colors, material and mounting. For piping isometrics, identify the approved valve or equipment IDs that belong on each tag; keep reference notes separate from the words to engrave. Include the drawing revision and desired grouping by system, room or installation area. Resolve missing entries before approving production.

Supply the cell identifiers approved for the actual tower layout. Give each distinct plate its own schedule row and show the parent tower reference separately when it is required on the plate or needed for grouping. Include exact text, quantities, dimensions, colors, material and mounting. Do not ask the shop to assign cell letters from a photograph or an illustrative numbering scheme. Check the requested proof against the approved mechanical schedule and layout before releasing the order.

Use the abbreviations and full service names approved in your mechanical schedule. Keep each valve ID, service designation and location in separate named fields, and show exactly which text belongs on the tag. Identify chilled-water and condenser-water groups explicitly rather than expecting the engraver to infer them from a color or short code. Include quantities, dimensions, attachment details and the source revision. Review the list with the responsible project team before approving engraving.

Keep the approved equipment ID and any lead/lag wording in separate source fields. Show which information belongs on the fixed equipment plate and whether the approved drawing calls for a separate duty legend. Supply the final text, quantities, layout, dimensions and mounting for each distinct design. Do not leave the equipment's role for the engraving team to infer from its number. Check the controlling revision before ordering replacements; engraving the text does not configure or validate pump sequencing.

Send the approved basin-heater identifier, its cell or location reference, and any disconnect wording that must appear. Name each requested plate separately and distinguish reference-only fields from final engraving text. Include the source drawing revision, dimensions, quantities, colors, material and mounting details. Have the responsible electrical or equipment team confirm any circuit or disconnect reference before production. CPL can engrave the supplied identification; it does not determine the disconnecting arrangement or approve an electrical installation.

Describe the actual installation: splash or drift, sunlight, temperature, treatment chemicals, cleaning chemicals and the mounting surface. Provide chemical names and concentrations where exposure is possible, along with any specified material grade. Include the approved attachment and hole pattern, and have the proposed stock confirmed for that location. Do not assume that every plate in a cooling package needs the same material.

Those details let the team review the specific order instead of relying on a general transit estimate.
