Engraved Equipment Labels for Garland Projects
Prepare identification for your Garland equipment installation or suite fit-out. Send the approved equipment list with plate dimensions, text, colors and attachment requirements. We engrave in Kennesaw, Georgia and ship to your project receiving address.
Garland Data Center Suite Fit-Out Identification
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation registers Project Gold Phase 2 DFW39 at 805 Holford Road in Garland, with Digital Realty listed as the owner. A registered project is not evidence that construction is complete. Our Dallas–Fort Worth label services cover the wider regional market.
A suite fit-out can involve equipment plates, panel identification, control legends and mechanical tags. Define the engraved items in the approved schedule and keep separate cable, port and safety-marking requirements explicit. The data center identification guide explains the equipment package.
Define the Identification Area on Each Assembly
Use drawings to show how each plate fits the installed equipment. Include the complete outline, finished dimensions, text-line layout and mounting references. Identify removable covers, existing attachment surfaces and any stock requirement that needs review. Supply approved instructions rather than relying on a photograph to establish the full specification.
Electrical Panel Identification
Provide the approved panel and disconnect identifiers, exact text and installation requirements. Keep the reference tied to the controlling schedule.
Equipment Nameplates
Specify the approved equipment information, finished dimensions and attachment. Add a photo and measured hole pattern when replacing an installed plate.
Pushbutton and Control Legends
Submit the approved function text with the operator reference and required plate dimensions. Include the drawing where the layout must match a control assembly.
Control Panels and Overlays
Provide a dimensioned outline, cutouts, approved wording and artwork. Complex layouts receive a proof for approval before production.
Mechanical Valve Tags
Keep valve identifiers, system references, dimensions and attachment details together. Describe actual exposure so the material can be reviewed for the application.
Custom Engraved Laminate Labels
Send each label design with its text, quantity, dimensions, stock and mounting requirements. Standard labels use multi-layer engraving laminate, commonly called phenolic.
Prepare Delivery to Your Garland Receiving Address
Provide the installation address or the contractor office or warehouse receiving the order. Include the required in-hand date and grouping fields for the equipment package. When a fit-out has several releases, identify the approved list for each release. Production and shipping arrangements are confirmed for the actual order.
Keep Fit and Attachment Requirements Together
Show the Complete Outline
Dimension the entire plate, including any extension or corner detail. State units and mounting references so the shape can be reviewed with the finished size.
Separate Identifier Fields
Keep equipment IDs, asset numbers and serial numbers in clearly named columns. Supply the approved line arrangement and quantities for each design.
Describe the Attachment Surface
Identify coatings, texture, exposure and any removal requirement. Review the actual stock and attachment together before approving production.
Quote the Garland Equipment Identification Package
Send the approved schedule, drawing revision, exact text, quantities, dimensions, colors, stock and mounting requirements. Identify exceptions and add grouping instructions where needed. The label schedule preparation guide helps organize the request.
Send Your Garland Equipment Schedule and Drawings
Include the finished dimensions, mounting details, receiving address and required in-hand date.
Request a Project Label QuoteCommon questions
Specify the circle diameter and the complete outside dimensions separately when a tab extends beyond the round body. Attach the approved outline with units, tab position, and any mounting-hole details. A catalog diameter alone does not define that complete shape. CPL accepts dimensioned technical drawings for custom-shaped labels. Check the resulting layout against the drawing before production rather than assuming the quoted diameter includes an extension.
Include the corner shape in the dimensioned drawing instead of describing the plate only by width and height. Show any radius, clipped corner, or other required edge detail, along with units and mounting references. Identify the available space on the equipment and attach a photograph when replacing an installed plate. CPL reviews custom drawings and layouts; confirm the quoted outline before approving the replacement.
Use separate lines when the approved layout calls for separate asset and serial-number fields. Keep each identifier in its own clearly named spreadsheet column and include any field labels that must appear on the plate. Copy the values from the controlling equipment record rather than treating the two numbers as interchangeable. Attach the approved layout when their placement matters. The schedule guide explains how columns become individual engraved text lines.
Identify which face the installer will read and include the intended mounting orientation in the drawing. Specify the substrate and any backing, paint fill, or adhesive required for the complete plate. Reverse engraving alone does not establish a higher heat or chemical rating. Include the actual exposure and request confirmation of the proposed assembly before production. Use the material specifications guide when the project requires documented performance.
Send a dimensioned drawing showing the identification area on the cover and its orientation when installed. Include the exact text, finished plate size, material requirement, and mounting details, with a photograph as a reference if available. State whether you are requesting a separate identification plate rather than engraving the cover itself. CPL accepts technical drawings for review; confirm the quoted scope and layout before releasing the order.
No. A metal-etching sample does not specify the material or process for an engraved laminate plate. Preserve the substrate and manufacturing requirements stated in your project documents and include them with the quote request. CPL uses multi-layer engraving laminates for many identification orders; these differ from true phenolic and metal stock. Confirm the proposed material before production, and resolve any requested substitution with the responsible project reviewer.
Send photographs of the plate and mounting surface, the original material or adhesive specification if known, and a description of the exposure. Include temperature, moisture, cleaning chemicals, and how the plate is handled. Request review of the replacement stock and attachment together. Adhesive compatibility depends on the actual surface, preparation, environment, and loading; a stronger-sounding adhesive name alone does not establish a suitable replacement.
Identify the coating and describe whether the attachment area is smooth or textured. Include the plate dimensions, operating conditions, cleaning exposure, and any specified adhesive or surface-preparation instructions. Ask for the proposed stock and attachment to be reviewed together before production. CPL's material guide treats compatibility as surface- and environment-dependent. A cabinet description alone does not establish that a particular adhesive will bond to every powder-coated finish.
State that removability is required in the quote request and explain when the identification must be removed. Include the mounting surface, exposure, plate dimensions, and any project restrictions on adhesive or mechanical attachment. Have the proposed plate and mounting method confirmed for that installation. Do not assume an adhesive-backed plate will remove without residue or surface damage. The material guide explains why attachment must be specified alongside the stock.
Identify both materials in contact with the attachment, including any coatings or finishes. Provide the plate dimensions, exposure, surface-preparation requirements, and the way the installed plate will be handled or loaded. Request confirmation of the complete stock-and-attachment combination before approving production. CPL's material guidance makes compatibility dependent on the actual substrate and conditions; naming only one surface leaves part of that installation unspecified.
